El dúo de arquitectos Gijs Van Vaerenbergh diseñó un molino de viento de acero reforzado, inspirado en los dibujos lineales de Bruegel. En algunas pinturas y grabados de Pieter Bruegel, el molino desempeña un papel importante, como en la Crucifixión de 1568. La ligera construcción evoca la antigua relación entre el paisaje productivo y el carácter rural que ya ha desaparecido hace tiempo. La obra se sitúa en un paisaje abierto y es visible desde lejos.
