El arroyo Osterbach, en el distrito de Kassel en el norte de Hesse, es un afluente de 7,2 km de longitud por la izquierda o del lado norte del Fulda.
El arroyo Osterbach nace en la parte sur del bosque de Reinhardswald. Su fuente se encuentra en la ladera oeste del Gahrenberg o en la ladera sureste del Junkernkopf. Se localiza no muy lejos al suroeste de una bifurcación del amplio camino forestal Alte Kohlenstraße, que conecta el aparcamiento Roter Stock, situado al oeste en la carretera estatal 3232, con el Gahrenberg, al este, escondido en el bosque a unos 390 m de altura.
