El Pohnshalligkoog, coloquialmente llamado Pohns o Pohnskoog, es el más joven de los kogs habitados de la península de Nordstrand. Pertenece como una parte del municipio de Nordstrand.
El Pohnshallig, una antigua hallig, fue despojado de la isla de Alt-Nordstrand por la inundación de Burchardi en el año 1634. Tras la restauración progresiva de tierras anteriormente pobladas en los siglos XVIII y XIX, y a medida que la isla se expandió poco a poco hacia el este, finalmente en el año 1924 se llevó a cabo la construcción de diques en el Pohnshallig.
