Alsenborn, con alrededor de 2750 habitantes, es la parte más pequeña de la comunidad local de Enkenbach-Alsenborn, situada en el distrito de Kaiserslautern, en Renania-Palatinado. Hasta 1969, Alsenborn era un municipio independiente, antes de ser incorporado al nuevo municipio en el marco de la reforma administrativa de Renania-Palatinado. Alsenborn adquirió notoriedad regional por sus grupos de circo, el club de fútbol SV Alsenborn, que jugó en la lucha por el ascenso a la Bundesliga en la década de 1960, y como el lugar de residencia del futbolista Fritz Walter, quien se convirtió en campeón del mundo en 1954 como capitán de la selección nacional alemana.
