Puente del Mar (literalmente "Puente del Mar") fue durante siglos la ruta natural sobre el ahora desviado río hacia el puerto. El puente original fue destruido por inundaciones, y este fue construido como reemplazo en 1591. Siglos después, específicamente en 1933, se convirtió en una zona peatonal y se añadieron escaleras elegantes, diseñadas por Javier Goerlich. Puente del Mar consta de 10 arcos de cada uno 15 y media metros. También encontrarás estatuas de la Virgen de los Desamparados, la patrona de Valencia, y San Pascual a lo largo del puente.
