Alcaudete es una localidad y municipio español situado en la parte noroccidental de la comarca de la Sierra Sur, en la provincia de Jaén. Limita con los municipios jienenses de Alcalá la Real, Castillo de Locubín y Martos, y con los municipios cordobeses de Baena, Luque, Priego de Córdoba y Fuente-Tójar. Por su término discurren los ríos Guadajoz —incluido el embalse de Vadomojón—, Víboras, San Juan y Caicena.
