Desde hace más de doscientos años, los catalanes construyen castells, torres humanas formadas por hombres, mujeres y niños que se apoyan unos en hombros y alcanzan hasta diez niveles de altura. Esta tradición única es un testimonio de un excelente trabajo en equipo. Entre junio y octubre se pueden admirar castells en todas las fiestas de la ciudad, pero para un verdadero espectáculo hay que estar en Tarragona. Entre el 24 de junio y el 24 de septiembre se celebra casi a diario un espectáculo de Castells.
Si quieres ver trabajar a los mejores castellers del mundo, también debes ir a Tarragona. Al fin y al cabo, cada dos años se celebra el Concurso Castell, una competición en la que los mejores equipos de Castell compiten entre sí en un auténtico espectáculo.
