Este jardín comunitario situado a los pies de la iglesia fue diseñado de acuerdo con el Capitulario de Villis promulgado por Carlomagno a finales del siglo VIII. Un jardín medieval trazado al estilo de los años 800 a 1200.
El jardín se distribuye en tres pequeñas terrazas: plantas medicinales (160), plantas colorantes -para colorantes alimentarios, tintas y tintes- y el pequeño huerto.
Las plantas están clasificadas según su uso, casi como en la Edad Media, salvo que entonces los monjes también elegían cada lugar según su significado religioso o espiritual.
Pero lo más destacado de la gran terraza es sin duda la banda de rosas de Provins, todas en flor. Esta explosión de rosas recuerda que Provins fue un cruce comercial en la Edad Media. Esta rosa de mayo no es remontante. Se utiliza para la destilación.
