La Provincia autónoma de Bolzano - Tirol del Sur / Alto Adigio , más conocida como Tirol del Sur o Alto Adigio, es una provincia de la región italiana de Trentino - Alto Adigio / Tirol del Sur, de la cual forma parte junto con la Provincia de Trento. La capital es Bolzano/Bozen . Debido a los acuerdos entre los gobiernos de Italia y Austria, sobre todo por el tema lingüístico, la región Trentino - Alto Adigio / Tirol del Sur se descentralizó prácticamente en su totalidad a favor de las provincias, por lo que las provincias pueden ser prácticamente homologables al resto de las regiones de Italia y no de las provincias.
