El Oratorio de San Cristoforo está ubicado en la esquina de Via Ricciarelli y Via Franceschini en Volterra, Toscana.
Alberga un fresco de la Virgen y el Niño, atribuido a Mariotto di Andrea de Volterra (siglo XV), objeto de gran veneración.
El oratorio también debe su nombre a la característica plaza que tiene enfrente.
San Cristoforo es un santo en la Iglesia Católica Romana y las Iglesias Ortodoxas Orientales. Se le considera un santo importante que fue y es venerado en muchos países y épocas. Su onomástica es el 24 de julio (antes del Concilio Vaticano II su onomástica era el 25 de julio, pero como ese es también el onomástico del apóstol Santiago, San Cristóbal se conmovió un día). En 1969, sin embargo, el Vaticano lo eliminó del Calendario de los Santos.
