Desde lo alto de la Rocca di Termini Alta, este castillo domina toda la ciudad y gran parte de la costa del Tirreno.
El castillo fue completamente destruido entre 1860 y principios del siglo XX. Hoy, un depósito de agua y las instalaciones asociadas se encuentran en su lugar. La iconografía de los siglos XVI-XIX muestra el castillo aislado sobre el acantilado, con el núcleo en lo alto, protegido por un extenso circuito de murallas abaluartadas.
