Maasbommel es una ciudad en la provincia holandesa de Güeldres. Es parte del municipio de West Maas en Waal y se encuentra a unos 7 km al norte de Oss. Recibió derechos de ciudad en 1312. Se mencionó por primera vez en 1144 como de Bumele, y probablemente significa "bosque de árboles cerca del Maas" para distinguirlo de Zaltbommel. Maasbommel se estableció a lo largo del río. En 1312, Maasbommel recibió derechos de ciudad y se unió a la Liga Hanseática. A pesar de que se le otorgaron derechos de ciudad, no se desarrolló después de la Edad Media. En el siglo XIII, se construyó una iglesia que fue demolida en 1812. En 1672, las tropas francesas dañaron gravemente la ciudad y destruyeron el Hof bij Maasbommel.
