Susteren ]; Limburgish: Zöstere [ˈzœstəʀə]) es una ciudad en la provincia neerlandesa de Limburgo. Se encuentra en el municipio de Echt-Susteren, a unos 7 km al noroeste de Sittard. Fue un municipio separado hasta 2003, cuando se fusionó con Echt. Susteren recibió el derecho de ciudad en 1276. Susteren albergó la Abadía Benedictina de Susteren, que fue fundada en el siglo VIII y cerrada a finales del siglo XVIII. Su iglesia románica fue elevada al estatus de basílica en 2007 por el papa Benedicto XVI. Hay un museo ‘t Stift al lado de la iglesia. Otros lugares de interés son el Cañón en el mercado, el castillo Eyckholt, el molino Dieterdermolen y granjas típicas del valle del río Mosa como el Hommelhof.
