La Woonboulevard Heerlen cuenta con tiendas de decoración del hogar, mobiliario y diversos restaurantes y cafés. El centro comercial dispone de más de 50 tiendas y 3500 plazas de aparcamiento propias. En total, las empresas tienen casi 1000 empleados. La woonboulevard se inauguró en 1991 con 40.000 m². En su momento, fue la primera de su tipo en Limburg. Con la llegada de IKEA y la expansión de otras tiendas, entre ellas en 2004, la superficie ha crecido hasta 120.000 m². La woonboulevard está situada directamente junto a la N281 y A76. En 2010, se construyó justo al lado de la woonboulevard una estación de tren, la estación Heerlen Woonboulevard.
