La segunda ruta de 80 km va en sentido antihorario a través del área natural de Drents Friesche Wold. Desde Appelscha, continúa por los caminos de grava de las Dunas Peladas. Luego, hacia Zorgvlied, Doldersum y continúa a través del hermoso paisaje de setos alrededor de Vledder hasta la colonia de turba en Frederiksoord/Wilhelminaoord, donde hay un par de hermosas largas tramos de grava. Después, regresa a Appelscha a través de Diever y Oude Willem.
