Le canal maritime de Bruxelles à l'Escaut, aussi nommé canal de Willebroeck,,, est le nouveau nom pour le canal maritime Bruxelles-Rupel, depuis la création d'une liaison directe avec l'Escaut en 1997 en remplacement de l'ancienne liaison remontant au XVIe siècle.Le canal est un des plus anciens canaux navigables en Belgique, voire d'Europe. Les travaux débutèrent en 1550 et durèrent jusqu'en 1561.
