Le sentier bien balisé ouvre le vieux paysage culturel brabançon autour de l’ancien monastère cistercien de Villers-la-Ville. Le changement constant de montagne et de vallée, de forêt et de terres ouvertes, pourvu de nombreux éléments de paysage culturel, rend la randonnée extrêmement divertissante. La visite passe par d’anciennes fermes, des chapelles, un moulin, un château et une église. Il vaut également la peine de visiter les impressionnantes ruines de l’abbaye, qui donnent une impression de l’ancienne taille et de l’importance de cet endroit.
