Le monastère de Schwarzenbroich est une ruine dans la forêt entre Gürzenich et Schevenhütte dans le district de Düren, en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, sur le territoire de la commune actuelle de Langerwehe.
Le monastère était situé au pied de la colline de Knoster. Aujourd'hui, seules les parties murales fortement envahies, atteignant jusqu'à 6 m de haut, sont visibles. Au Moyen Âge, le lieu était appelé Matthiasthal, car en 1340, Werner von Merode aurait vu apparaître l'apôtre Matthieu. Il l'aurait encouragé à établir un monastère à cet endroit. Juste à côté du monastère passait le chemin des pèlerins, qui menait de Düren à Gürzenich, Derichsweiler, Schevenhütte jusqu'au célèbre lieu de pèlerinage de Kornelimünster. C'est une partie du chemin de Saint-Jacques et est donc marqué par la coquille de Saint-Jacques comme symbole du chemin de Saint-Jacques.
