Du Sanickel, montez d'abord jusqu'au chemin Willy Müller. Tournez à gauche le long de l'Adlersberg occidental jusqu'à l'ancienne carrière de pierre, puis continuez tout droit vers Lautenthal ou montez en oblique le chemin de la scierie jusqu'à Hahnenklee.
À partir de Försterplatz, environ 6 km sur le chemin de la Croix-Rouge jusqu'au Gaipel de Maaßen (auberge de la forêt) jusqu'à Lautenthal.
