La Smakerij est un concept unique, situé dans l'ancien bureau des douanes, au pied de la réserve naturelle "Het Vijverbroek". Ici, la marche, le vélo, la terrasse d'été et la délicieuse cuisine se mêlent harmonieusement. Vous serez chaleureusement accueilli par la famille. De délicieux plats (menu petit & grand) sont préparés par le patron lui-même. Les plats de poisson frais sont la spécialité de la maison. De cet endroit partent plusieurs sentiers de randonnée du Parc fluvial Maasvallei. La Smakerij dispose également de ses propres sentiers de randonnée et peut, si souhaité, créer des parcours sur mesure, éventuellement combinés avec un repas.
