Vemundvik est une ancienne municipalité dans l'ancien comté de Nord-Trøndelag, en Norvège. La municipalité de 247 kilomètres carrés a existé de 1838 jusqu'à sa dissolution en 1964. En 1964, la municipalité correspondait à peu près aux zones continentales au nord de la rivière Namsen dans ce qui est maintenant la municipalité de Namsos dans le comté de Trøndelag. De 1838 jusqu'à environ 1942, le centre administratif était le village de Vemundvik où se trouve l'église de Vemundvik. Après 1941, les bureaux et l'administration municipaux étaient basés dans la ville de Namsos.
La municipalité de Vemundvik a été établie le 1er janvier 1838. En 1846, le village de Namsos a été déclaré ladested, ce qui signifie qu'il a été séparé de la municipalité de Vemundvik. La nouvelle ville comptait 591 habitants et le reste de Vemundvik était appelé Namsos herred ou Namsos landdistrikt et comptait 908 résidents après la séparation.
