Accanto alla seconda Casa dei Cornuti trovi la Casa delle Tasse. A lungo è stato l'ufficio dei 'tassatori', che con coscienziosità riscuotevano le tasse e vigilavano sul diritto di stazionamento. Ufficialmente questa casetta da giardiniere risale al XVII secolo, ma probabilmente è più antica, poiché già nel XIII secolo si parlava di una casa delle tasse sulla Graslei.
