Zande è un piccolo villaggio nei campi della West Flanders. Dal 1971 è una frazione di Koekelare. Oltre al comune principale di Koekelare, Zande è circondato da altri piccoli villaggi, come Moere e Zevekote, Leke e Sint-Pieters-Kapelle.
Zande è soprattutto un villaggio agricolo; la chiesa con alcune case intorno si trova in mezzo a vaste campi e prati. Fino alla seconda metà del XX secolo, nel allora comune indipendente c'erano ancora vari servizi, come una piccola scuola elementare, ma questi sono scomparsi a causa della piccola dimensione ed ora ci si deve affidare al comune principale di Koekelare o ai villaggi circostanti. Oltre alle abitazioni, oggi nel villaggio si trovano anche vari locali pubblici. Questi vivono sia grazie alla popolazione locale che al cicloturismo nei tranquilli campi.
