La rue Alexandre Markelbach è una strada brussellese del comune di Schaerbeek che inizia all'incrocio tra l'avenue Clays, la rue Gustave Fuss e la rue de la Consolation e termina in avenue Rogier passando per piazza Colonel Bremer e la grande rue au Bois.
La strada prende il nome dal pittore belga Alexandre Markelbach che abitò a Schaerbeek in chaussée de Haecht 129 e poi 155. Fu consigliere comunale dal 1879 al 1890. La denominazione della strada risale al 1898.
