La chiesetta di Sint-Martinus, proprio come la chiesa di Appelterre, era sotto il diritto di patronato del capitolo di Sint-Gertrudis di Nivelle. La chiesetta gotica, originariamente una cappella, risale al XIVmo secolo ed era costruita in mattoni e arenaria. Nel XVImo secolo si è evoluta in una chiesa a navata unica con pseudotransetto. A lungo, questo edificio è apparso un po' trascurato con una facciata intonacata desolante, ma nel 2016 questa pittoresca chiesetta è stata nuovamente inaugurata dopo un'attenta restaurazione. Fai attenzione al bello portico in arenaria, ma non aspettarti un interno grandioso; all'interno è suggestivo con muri bianchi, una bella Via Crucis, una popolare statua di Sint-Martinus e nuove vetrate moderne. Nel cimitero abbandonato intorno alla chiesa, vecchie tombe sfidano la pioggia, il vento e il sole…“Tempus fugit” … “il tempo vola”…
