Nel 1676 Christophe De le Tenre, parroco della parrocchia di Sint-Martinus, fece costruire questa cappella per alleviare l'obbligo della domenica per i fedeli che abitavano lontano.
Sebbene l'anno di costruzione suggerisca caratteristiche barocche, è stata comunque utilizzata una semplice stile tardo-gotico. La cappella, splendidamente situata sul versante sud del Muziekberg, è composta da uno spazio rettangolare con un piccolo coro sul retro a cui si appoggia una sacrestia. È costruita in mattoni, su un basamento parzialmente in arenaria, presenta piccole finestre ad arco acuto nelle pareti laterali e un portale ad arco a tutto sesto fortemente restaurato nella facciata ovest. Una piccola lanterna si erge sulla punta del tetto a doppia falda coperto di ardesia della navata.
