Questo percorso circolare ti porta lungo i bordi delle valli alte della Hoegne da Pepinster al paese medievale di Theux (non lontano da Franchimont). Entrambi hanno una stazione ferroviaria, Pepinster è raggiungibile in meno di 2 ore in treno da Gand.
Il paesaggio è quello delle Ardenne "disboscate", molto collinare ma aperto, così che passi da una panoramica sorprendente all'altra. Un vero "dépaysement"...
Il percorso si snoda per il 75 % su strade asfaltate - ma molto tranquille -. Segue in parte il GR 573 "Tour de la Vesdre" e la sua variante Spa.
