Bülkau è un comune nel comune aggregato di Land Hadeln nel nord-est del circondario di Cuxhaven nella Bassa Sassonia.
Il comune si trova a circa 20 chilometri a est della città capoluogo Cuxhaven, appena sotto il livello del mare. Bülkau, un caratteristico villaggio lineare sulla L 144, ha un'area di 2322 ettari, conta circa 850 abitanti, è lungo circa 11 chilometri e largo solo 3 chilometri.
