Blomberg ['blɔmbɛʁk] è una città nella regione di Ostwestfalen-Lippe, nel Nordreno-Westfalia. Si trova a est del circondario di Lippe, circa 45 chilometri a sud-est di Bielefeld e 20 chilometri a est di Detmold. La città principale è stata unita, durante la riforma comunale del 1970, con altre 18 comunità precedentemente autonome. Blomberg ha circa 15.000 abitanti e possiede un centro storico ben conservato. La prima colonizzazione dell'area urbana avvenne tra il VI e l'VIII secolo d.C. a seguito dell'immigrazione degli antichi sassoni. La fondazione della città avvenne tra il 1231 e il 1255 per opera del conte lippiano Bernardo III.
