Il traghetto di Wittow è una connessione traghettistica per pedoni e veicoli dalla parte centrale dell'isola di Rügen, la Muttland, alla penisola di Wittow a nord. Ha dato il nome anche alla frazione di Wittower Fähre del comune di Wiek. Questa si trova sullo Stretto di Rassower, sulla striscia di terra che si allunga verso il mare tra il Bodden di Wiek e il Bodden di Breetz al confine settentrionale. Sulla riva meridionale si trova il molo del traghetto tra le frazioni di Vaschvitz e Fischersiedlung del comune di Trent.
Quando nei rigorosi inverni le superfici d'acqua del Bodden si congelano, rimangono aperti gli ultimi specchi d'acqua in questo stretto di circa 350 m a causa della corrente dal e verso il Grande Bodden di Jasmund, offrendo così rifugio a molti uccelli acquatici.
