Il Garather Mühlenbach è un torrente lungo circa 10 chilometri. Tocca le città della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia di Solingen, Hilden e Düsseldorf.
Il Garather Mühlenbach nasce da due sorgenti in un'area boschiva tra Bauermannsheide, il parco degli uccelli e degli animali di Solingen e il precedente stadio di Hermann-Löns-Weg, a ovest del quartiere di Ohligs a Solingen. Nella sua parte superiore, nel territorio di Solingen, viene anche chiamato Kalversterzer Bach e scorre lì a 20 metri sotto una linea di alta tensione in un tubo. A ovest di Brabant, il torrente costituisce il confine naturale tra Solingen e Hilden.
