La casa in Goethestraße 14 della città termale hessiana di Bad Nauheim è diventata famosa in tutto il mondo per il fatto che è stata abitata da Elvis Presley dal 3 febbraio 1959 al 2 marzo 1960.
Nell'ambito del suo servizio militare nell'esercito degli Stati Uniti, Presley arrivò mercoledì 1 ottobre 1958 con il trasportatore di truppe USS Randall a Bremerhaven. Da lì partì in treno per Friedberg, dove Presley prestò servizio nelle Ray Barracks per i successivi 17 mesi.
