Vaalserquartier è un luogo appartenente al quartiere di Laurensberg ad Aquisgrana e si trova immediatamente al confine con Vaals nei Paesi Bassi. Vaalserquartier è raggiungibile tramite la B 1 o la Maastrichterlaan N 278.
Il nome Vaalserquartier risale all'inizio del XIV secolo e conserva ancora la vecchia suddivisione del ex impero di Aquisgrana, secondo la quale questa area era uno dei sette cosiddetti quartieri davanti alle mura della città di Aquisgrana. Un segno visibile di quell'epoca è la torre di guardia Gut Beeck, ancora esistente ma fondamentalmente modificata, appartenente all'impero di Aquisgrana, situata lungo il Dreiländerweg, così come la pietra dell'aquila al precedente punto di attraversamento del confine Kleine Wache. Inoltre, si possono trovare a sud-ovest di Vaalserquartier i resti sia del fossato interno che di quello esterno di Aquisgrana.
