DISTRETTO DELLE VILLE DI BRAY-DUNES
Alla fine del XIX secolo, le spiagge e il bagno di mare divennero di moda. Ben servita dalla ferrovia, Bray-Dunes accoglie naturalmente i primi "turisti" della "buona società" di Tourcoing e Roubaix. Nel cuore di un ambiente eccezionale, hotel, ville (tra cui "Suzon", "Hortensia", "Theresa" e "Marguerite") vengono stabiliti e garantiscono lo sviluppo balneare della città.
Di fronte a questo entusiasmo, nel 1912 fu creata una società a responsabilità limitata chiamata "la Plage de Bray-Dunes", destinata a promuovere il settore costiero. Poi nel 1928, una società immobiliare venderà le prime ville "chiavi in mano".
