Il centro storico si trova a 527 m s.l.m. sul colle Brocco; il paese poi si è sviluppato a valle, a Madonna della Stella, il centro principale lungo la SS 627.
Sotto il colle Brocco scorre il fiume Fibreno, che nasce nel vicino lago di Posta Fibreno, e confluisce nel Liri, nel comune di Sora.
