All'interno del Diepenring la strada si chiama Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat; all'esterno si trova la Nieuwe Kijk in 't Jatstraat. Originariamente la strada era chiamata anche Rechte Jat, l'attuale Kromme Elleboog era allora conosciuta come Kromme Jat. La strada va dalla Zwanestraat fino al diepenring. A sud della Zwanestraat la Kijk in 't Jatstraat prosegue come Stoeldraaierstraat fino al Vismarkt.
