La Waver è un corso d'acqua nella provincia olandese di Noord-Holland, che sfocia nell'Amstel. Il fiume forma il confine meridionale e orientale del comune di Ouder-Amstel e il confine nord-ovest di De Ronde Venen. Essa costituisce anche il confine tra le province di Noord-Holland e Utrecht. Oltre a Stokkelaarsbrug, la Waver è chiamata Oude Waver. Il borgo di Waver si trova sulla riva destra della Waver. Per il traffico ci sono tre ponti: il Stokkelaarsbrug, il Waverbrug e, presso il Fort Waver-Amstel, il Jac.G. Keabrug.
