A prima vista, Hoeve Termoere sembra una "normale" fattoria in legno, ma questa fattoria ha un lato particolare. Una parte, il grande muro laterale in pietra, è infatti costruita con pietre preistoriche provenienti dalle cave vicine. Quando la fattoria fu costruita nel XVIII secolo, probabilmente non si sapeva che la arenaria di carbone fosse così antica! Il monumento nazionale Hoeve Termoere ospita ora alcune case vacanze.
