Questa passeggiata di quasi 5 chilometri inizia alla stazione di Muiderpoort. Lungo il percorso esploriamo il vecchio Tuinwijck e il nuovo Oostpoort. Dalla Ringdijk scendiamo nella Watergraafsmeer bonificata. Qui trovi tre anelli di crescita della città, con in successione l'Art Nouveau olandese, la scuola di Amsterdam e lo stile di costruzione funzionalista del dopoguerra.
Sotto il viadotto ferroviario arriviamo a Science Park, il campus universitario per le scienze naturali. Attraverso la Ringdijk e il quartiere indonesiano torniamo alla stazione di Muiderpoort. Un bel posto per una tazza di tè è Elixer in Ambonplein.
