Het domein Vagevuurbos met zijn 220 hectare groot en het nabije Lippensgoed-Bulskampveld vormen samen het grootste boscomplex van West-Vlaanderen. Dit groene zuurstoftapijt strekt zich uit over de gemeenten Beernem, Hertsberge en Wingene. In tegenstelling tot wat de ietwat onheilspellende naam laat vermoeden, is dit bosdomein een waar aards paradijs voor fauna en flora. Dit bos loopt bovendien langs de geliefde Wildenburgwandelroute.
