Op de Paddezijp kruisen we de Leibeek die de slotgracht van Ter Loonst voedt en volgen links de Paddezijpstraat, kruisen de Aarschotsebaan en volgen verder rechts de betonnen Weissetterstraat met aan de rechterkant de O.-L.-Vrouwkapel uit 1868 waar Prosper Van Langendonck regelmatig voorbij wandelde. Op het T-kruispunt met de Haachtsesteenweg gaan we naar rechts op het fietspad en volgen de steenweg om even verder over te steken naar de Vogelzanglaan. We komen hier in het Weissetterbos waar we langs de linkerzijde een verkaveling aantreffen. Even verder een afgesloten domen van 3 ha 30 a 'Het Natuurpark Vogelzang'.
