Description

Akrenbos is gelegen tussen Lessines en Bever en maakt deel uit van een groter boscomplex 'Bois d’Acren' op het grondgebied van de provincie Henegouwen. Het ligt op de flank van een beekdal, de Arenbergbeek ligt op de grens met de Henegouwen. Het beekdal herbergt een typische bronbosflora. Ondanks het feit dat het op een helling gelegen is, komen er weinig holle wegen of taluds voor. Het zuidelijk deel wordt 'Bos del Gouffe' genoemd. In het oostelijk deel liggen meerdere percelen gras- en akkerland.
