De "Charleroyhoeve" in traditionele bak- en zandsteenstijl is een rest van wat eens het meest prestigieuze (semi-)gesloten pachthof van de abdij van Grimbergen was. Gedeeltelijk omwalde gebouwen uit het derde kwart van de 17de en 18de eeuw, aangepast of vernieuwd in de 19de en 20ste eeuw. Landelijk gelegen aan de noordoostelijke rand van het dorpscentrum, ingeplant op de hoek gevormd door de Maalbeek en de Lierbaan binnen het beschermde dorpsgezicht "De Maalbeekvallei" (Koninklijk Besluit van 9-7-1980).
