De Engadin is een prachtige afgesloten vallei in het zuidoosten van Zwitserland, kanton Graubünden. Het is een van de regio’s waar lariksen/lorken staan die elke herfst prachtig geen kleuren. Oktober is meestal een ideale periode om van de kleurenpracht te genieten. De omliggende bergtoppen kleuren dan ook al wat wit en de zon schijnt vaak nog uitbundig. “Goldener Oktober” zoals dat genoemd wordt. Wij maakten een tweedaagse trektocht van 47 km vanuit de Engadin naar de Chamanna Jenatsch.
