De Hohensyburg, ook wel Syburg genoemd, is de ruïne van een hoogteburcht op de ongeveer 245 m boven NN hoge Syberg, boven de samenvloeiing van de Ruhr en de Lenne in het kunstmatig aangelegde Hengsteysee in de zuidelijke wijk Syburg van Dortmund. De Hohensyburg is een populair uitje. Tot de andere bezienswaardigheden behoren de Vincketoren, het Oorlogsmonument en het Keizer-Wilhelm-monument. In de buurt bevinden zich sinds 1952 het Natuurtheater Hohensyburg en sinds 1985 ook het Casino Hohensyburg. De omgeving is aangewezen en beschermd als natuurreservaat Ruhrsteilhänge Hohensyburg. Het Syburger Mijnbouwpad ontsluit overblijfselen van moderne mijnbouw. De burcht is als archeologisch monument in de monumentenregister van de stad Dortmund opgenomen.
