Laase is een wijk van de gemeente Langendorf in de Landkreis Lüchow-Dannenberg in Nedersaksen. Op 1 juli 1972 werd de tot dan toe zelfstandige gemeente, waartoe ook de plaatsen Grippel en Pretzetze behoorden, opgenomen in de gemeente Langendorf. De plaats ligt aan de westelijke oever van de Elbe. In 2008 leidde de teelt van genetisch gemodificeerd maïs van het zaadbedrijf Monsanto tot sterke protesten. Sinds 2009 worden in Laase en in de gehele gemeente Langendorf geen genetisch gemodificeerde gewassen meer verbouwd. De straat door de plaats is sinds 1995 regelmatig het toneel van de transporten naar de opgeslagen nucleaire afval in Gorleben.
