De Richard-Schirrmann-realschule was een voormalige realschule in Altena, die na het einde van het schooljaar 2016/2017 werd opgeheven.
De instelling was vernoemd naar de voor de stad en haar geschiedenis bepalende persoonlijkheid Richard Schirrmann, die in 1907 de eerste voorlopige jeugdherberg oprichtte, welke in 1912 naar de Burg Altena verhuisde. Deze bevond zich in het oude gebouw van de school, dat toen nog Netterschule werd genoemd. Het oude gebouw werd in de jaren '60 afgebroken. Daarna werd de school in de huidige vorm volledig opnieuw gebouwd. In 1998 trok de realschule het laatst gebruikte gebouw binnen.
