Het Nieuwe Stadhuis van de stad Bocholt is ontworpen door de architect Gottfried Böhm, winnaar van de Pritzkerprijs. Het monumentale gebouw herbergt naast de administratie ook de gemeenteraadzaal, vergaderzalen van de gemeentelijke fracties en het stadhuis met ongeveer 700 zitplaatsen.
Sinds 1997 bevindt zich op een tussenverdieping een burgerkantoor, daarnaast is er een nevenvestiging van de gemeente Borken in het stadhuis ondergebracht. Tijdens de volledige renovatie en herbouw van het stadhuis vanaf februari 2020 werden de afdelingen in andere gebouwen in het stadsgebied ondergebracht.
