De Barnacken nabij Horn in de Noordrijn-Westfaalse Kreis Lippe is met 446,4 m boven NHN de hoogste berg van het Teutoburger Woud. Hij ligt niet ver van de naadlijn van dit middelgebergte naar het Eggegebergte en wordt volgens de natuurlijke indeling deels ook tot laatstgenoemd gebergte gerekend.
De Barnacken verheft zich in het zuidoosten van het Teutoburger Woud, in het natuurpark Teutoburger Woud / Eggegebergte, ongeveer 3 km westnoordwestelijk van het naadpunt in het Silberbachtal bij de Silbermühle, dat naar het zuidoosten gericht is richting het Eggegebergte. Zijn top ligt ongeveer 3 km ten zuidwesten van Horn, een zuidwestelijk stadsdeel van Horn-Bad Meinberg, en iets minder dan 3,5 km ten noordoosten van Kohlstädt, een deelgemeente van de buurgemeente Schlangen.
