Het huis aan de Goethestraße 14 in de hessische kuurstad Bad Nauheim werd wereldwijd bekend door het feit dat het van 3 februari 1959 tot 2 maart 1960 door Elvis Presley werd bewoond.
In het kader van zijn dienstplicht bij het Amerikaanse leger arriveerde Presley op woensdag 1 oktober 1958 met de troepentransporter USS Randall in Bremerhaven. Van daaruit ging hij met de trein naar Friedberg, waar Presley in de komende 17 maanden zijn dienst in de Ray Barracks verrichtte.
